Processing & Handling
Each product undergoes a strict final inspection to ensure our minimalist packaging and protective seals meet our uncompromising standards. Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days.
Artful Packaging
Whether you are receiving our Brightening Hydra Lucent Essence or the UV PROTECTION Sunscreen SPF50 PA++++, your products are nestled in eco-friendly packaging designed to protect the integrity of the formulas. We take special care to shield our signature milky white essence and standard-lid bottles from light and temperature fluctuations during transit.
Transit Times
Standard delivery typically takes 3–5 business days for domestic orders, and 7–14 business days for international destinations. A secure tracking link will be provided via email the moment your order is dispatched.
Returns & Exchanges
We hold our formulations to the highest standard and want you to be entirely satisfied with your purchase.
Hygiene Standard
Due to the delicate nature of premium skincare serums and sunscreens, we can only accept returns on items that remain unopened, unused, and completely sealed in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery.
Damaged Items
If your package arrives damaged, please contact our concierge within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence so we may arrange a priority replacement.
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and approved, refunds are processed directly back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Product Imagery & Accuracy
We strive for absolute precision in our editorial studio imagery. Please note, however, that displayed pictures are strictly for illustration purposes, and the actual size or scale of the physical products may differ from what is shown.
Furthermore, our products are depicted true to their nature: our Brightening Hydra Lucent Essence features an opaque white liquid texture, and all The LAPEAU THÉORY bottles are intentionally designed with standard caps (no pumps) to preserve the brand’s authentic application method and aesthetic.
Shipping Liability
The customer is responsible for providing a correct shipping address at checkout. The LAPEAU THÉORY is not liable for orders delivered to incorrect addresses entered during the purchase process.

At The LAPEAU THÉORY, quality begins long before a product reaches your skin. From formulation through manufacturing and final preparation, our products are created with attention to consistency, hygiene and responsible production.
Our skincare is manufactured in Malaysia by an experienced cosmetics and personal-care manufacturer operating under recognised quality and Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
Good Manufacturing Practice
Our products are made at a facility operating in accordance with cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practice requirements overseen by Malaysia’s National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency.
These practices support controlled production, appropriate hygiene, documentation and consistent manufacturing processes.
ISO 22716 Cosmetic GMP
The manufacturing facility operates under ISO 22716, an internationally recognised standard providing guidance for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products.
ISO 9001 Quality Management
The manufacturer maintains a quality-management system aligned with ISO 9001. This supports documented processes, quality oversight and continual improvement across its manufacturing operations.
Halal-Certified Manufacturing
The LAPEAU THÉORY skincare products are manufactured in a facility certified to Malaysia’s recognised Halal standards. The manufacturing process follows established requirements for ingredient handling, cleanliness, traceability and production controls.
